Use this with my PSP. Had trouble at first. Easy fix is to use paragon partition manager. Youll see theres 2 partitions - one for each micro sd card inserted. All you have to do is delete 1 of the partions and extend the other one. Then you use the your PC (not PSP usb) to connect to computer and drag over custom firmware root(ie Games, games xx, seplugins) and your set. Incredible product. Dread to think what an official Sony 32 gb pro duo costs. Sure they retail at over 100 quid, so with this and 2 16gb micro sd's you can get the same results for 40 pounds (depending on the best deals).
After a bit of tweaking. . .. . May 10, 2010 Denis M. Brogan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Had lotsa probs initially. Used an 8gb and a 4gb. PSP would only ever read the 1st micro sd card. After couple hours tinkering finally got a 12gb pro duo out of it. Formatted both cards individually in PC, then Pc read it as 12gb. Then transferred file folders that were on an the root of an already formatted pro duo (ie GAMES , GAMESXX, SEPLUGINS, ISO) over to new pro duo adapter and ... what dya know. . . it works a treat. Ordered 2 16gb micro sds now for the Holy Grail - a 32GB PSP!!!! After you get it working, its amazing!!!!
A clever little dual-slot ProDuo Adapter for 2 Micro SD cards July 13, 2010 T. R. Bevan (Gloucestershire) This is a clever little dual-slot ProDuo Adapter for 2 Micro SD cards. So far I have only slipped one 4Gb Micro SD Card into one of the slots but it reads fine by my Sony Vaio HG Duo MagicGate Slot.
Strangely my Sony Camorder ProDuo slot cannot read the same SD Card but maybe I have to fill both slots with two SD Cards. I will try that.
Incidentally, Sony has stuck to their rather outdated ProDuo slot on most of their devices but individual ProDuo Memory Cards are so expensive. This is an inexpensive way to get around Sony's irritating non-standard ProDuo specifications.
Just what I was looking for! June 13, 2010 Mr. H. Khan I was running out of space on my 4GB Micro-SD High Class Card with an MS Pro Duo to Micro-SD card Adapter for my PSP and recently bought an 8GB Micro-SD High Class Card and wanted to pair them together to get 12GB of my Music and movies on my PSP. Now this worked just PERFECT!!
I formatted both Micro-SD cards on my computer with my memory card reader and then inserted them into this MS Pro Duo adapter, then formatted again with my card reader on my pc. Everything went perfect. I then took it over to my PSP and then let the PSP format it once and Boom I had a working 12GB MS Pro Duo card. After do that I just copied over my music and movies back to my PSP with ease!!
Great product that I would recommend to family and friends.
Thank You
Great item for PSP March 9, 2010 bubble999 (derbyshire) This is an excellent product, it's made my 2 16gb micro cards into one 32gb memory stick duo for my psp it's great, I can downloads as many games as I want from playstation network and put loads of music and videos on too. Please note that for use in the PSP this adapter should be formatted in the PSP first before used anywhere else or it will just keep saying it's locked on your PSP and you won't be able to use it.
